Roman Road Technique

Brickilla, user of HispaLUG and exhibitor of L-evolution Lego layout, presents us how she has done the pavement of her Lego roads in the exhibition. You can know more about this layout here.

Those Roman soldiers on the pavement look so great to me. The so called Lego bricks “bricks” are the main piece of this wonderful MOC.

Just connectin a few of these Lego bricks we can have a simple but fantastic Lego Roman Road…

Brickilla and Loko have made a great work. Congrats!

I never thought of using these bricks like that. Good find.

Why the studs next to the feet of the romans? These are very distracting to me…

The romans are on top of a brick 1×4 with studs on the side. If not, they will fall. And if it was the same brick but 1×1 or 1×2 the structure will not be strong enough.

Therefore, to make those studs invisible she has put some 1×1 plates and round bricks ;).
